• My Marilyn Manson dream

  Before you read this I just want to let you know that I am not bullshitting about any of this. It actually happened. So it was the start of the year and I had this dream which I haven't been able to stop thinking about. I had a dream about Marilyn Manson and all I knew about him before it was that he wore makeup and he was weird, according to my friend. I'd only seen a few photos of him but the one that stuck with me was the creepy Mickey Mouse makeup. Anyway, that morning, I guess you'd say I had the dream. It started out that I was reading his autobiography, straight from the book, which I previously had no idea existed, so my subconscious was making up the words as I read. I read about his father not always being around and his close relationship with his mother. I'm not sure if I got to the part about his grandfather. Then the 'scene' changed and I was sitting on the end of his hospital death bed and he was telling me his story himself. It kept flicking between scenes like that until I looked out the window and saw all these orange trees. And then someone woke me up. So I googled him because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I learnt about the circumstances with his mother and father and was astonished by the similarities in the dream. I also looked up the symbolism of orange trees in dreams and apparently it means that you will broaden your horizens and explore new interests. Which is weird because I then got some of his music and loved it and now I have a huge interest in music which I hadn't really had before. His work has inspired me and has almost changed my life! But the weirdest thing was when I was on Facebook and his bloody face appeared in a video and I watched the video and it turns out that I had the dream on his birthday! January 5. Then the next few days I started noticing all these random references to him like when I was bored and started reading the questions to my vintage trivial pursuit game. I started getti g all these questions, one after the other, about Charles Manson and Marilyn Monroe. It was weird. And some of the interviews that I've seen him in has shown me his personality, which is very similar to mine and some of his song lyrics just, describe my life in a nutshell. So it would be really great if you could help me interpret this please.
