• Rescue dog dream

  In my dream we were driving along and saw a lost timid pet dog (golden in colour as a Golden Retriever). We pulled over to the dog and I checked the tags on the collar. It said Lake Louise, which is in Alberta and we're living in Ontario (but have recently moved from BC). So it was far from home. I made room in the front of the car for the dog and it timidly got in. That's pretty much all I remember

  A few nights ago I had a dream about my Mom taking me to adopt a dog. I was very happy coz last time I remember my Mom didn't want to adopt anymore dogs coz she's too old to take care of them. In the dream, my Mom looks like she was on her 40th (she's now on her 60th). So we went to choose a dog. When we arrived, I saw a German Shepherd & a golden retriever. I was a bit nervous coz they're so big. The golden retriever kept on staring at me. But I braved myself to sit calmly while my Mom was talking to this guy (probably about dog breeds) and suddenly this Bernese puppy came to my lap. It was so cute so I pet it. I called out to my Mom to tell her that I found the right puppy but she ignored me. Suddenly the puppy took off of my lap. I called out my Mom again, she asked me to wait (she was still talking to the guy). All of a sudden the big golden retriever sat on my lap. I was scared but tried to be calm. I tried to stand up very slowly but it snarled at me and opened it's mouth to my face from below. I was hopelessly thinking this is my end but the golden retriever only kept on snarling with his mout open so wide to my face. My Mom was terrified and slowly tried to help me but I told her to stop coz somehow I felt like I know what it wants. I tried to be really calm (still really scared though) slowly put my right hand on it to pet it. It closed it's mouth & looked really comfortable with my hand. I stand up really extra slowly and then go with my Mom (not running). Didn't get any dog to adopt. Please tell my what my dream is about. I can't get it out of my head.
